Dr Theonevus Tinashe Chinyanga took the post of Executive Director of OPHID on the 1st of August 2018. He is an experienced medical and health programs professional with more than 15 years of both medical practice and management experience in public, managed care, and not-for-profit organizations. Dr Chinyanga graduated from the University of Zimbabwe with degrees in medicine and surgery (MBChB), and has worked in Zimbabwe, Lesotho, and South Africa. He also holds a Master of Business Administration degree and has gained qualifications in pharmaceutical medicine and financial management.
